City to Host Newcomer Orientation Sessions

The City of Charlottetown’s first fall Newcomer Orientation Session will be held on Thursday, October 10 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at City Hall (199 Queen Street).

The session features presentations from multiple departments at City Hall, and a tour of Charlottetown Fire Department, Station 1, as well as some light refreshments. These sessions are a great opportunity for newcomers to learn more about City Hall and ask questions. The sessions are free and open to any new residents who have recently moved to Charlottetown. Children are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Pre-registration for the orientations is required. The second session will be held on Thursday, November 7 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at City Hall. These events are designed to welcome newcomers to Charlottetown, providing information about the Capital, including City departments, programs and services.
