Deadline Approaching to Apply for Community and Advisory Boards

A reminder that the City of Charlottetown is currently seeking applications for vacancies on its Youth Engagement Committee and Affordable Housing Advisory Committee.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and be residents or property owners in the City of Charlottetown, with the exception of individuals who work in the City and have expertise specifically required for a committee to meet its mandate.

Committee participants must adhere to the City’s Public Appointment Policy and will receive a small stipend for their time and commitment. Two community and advisory boards are accepting applications and have the following vacancies:
• Youth Engagement Committee (4 vacancies)
• Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (5 vacancies)

The City of Charlottetown strives to create a diverse and inclusive environment. The goal for these advisory boards is to have a membership that represents the communities they serve, capitalizing on the strengths and talents of those communities.

All applications must be received by Wednesday, March 17 at 12 p.m. (noon). Applicants are encouraged review the City’s Public Appointment Policy and include a resume. Only those selected to sit on the advisory board will be contacted.
