Call for Applications for Community and Advisory Boards

The City of Charlottetown is currently seeking applications for vacancies on its various community and advisory boards.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, and be residents or property owners in the City of Charlottetown, with the exception of individuals who work in the City of Charlottetown and have expertise specifically required for a Board to meet its mandate.

The following community and advisory boards are accepting applications and have the following vacancies:
• Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (1 vacancy)
• Charlottetown Eastlink Centre (3 vacancies)
• The Guild (1 vacancy)
• Charlottetown Airport Authority (1 vacancy)
• Remuneration and Allowance Commission (3 vacancies)
• Mayor’s Task Force on Active Transportation (7 vacancies, including chair)

The City of Charlottetown strives to create a diverse and inclusive environment. The goal for these community and advisory boards is to have a diverse membership that represents the communities they serve, capitalizing on the strengths and talents of those communities. Members of the public who applied to the first call for applications in March 2019 must reapply if they are interested in any of the vacant positions.

All applications must be received by Friday, June 7 at 12 p.m. (noon). Applicants are encouraged review the City’s Public Appointment Policy and include a resume. Only those selected to sit on a Community or Advisory Board will be contacted.
