Posted on 01/23/2019
The City of Charlottetown has partnered with WinterLove PEI to offer a free Family Fun Event in Victoria Park on Sunday, February 10.

The Winter Family Fun Event, as part of the Winter Active campaign and WinterLove PEI 2019, will take place from 1 – 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 10 and includes: sleigh rides, outdoor skating, free hot chocolate, and other spontaneous winter activities. A limited number of free snowshoes will also be available for use, in conjunction with the Winter Family Fun Event, between 2 and 4 p.m. at Victoria Park. Those looking to use snowshoes are asked to meet at the Ball Field Clubhouse, off Brighton Road.

WinterLove PEI is a celebration of the magical season that brings us snow days, tobogganing, trees dusted in sparkling white, outdoor skating rinks, snowmen and snow angels, excuses to drink hot chocolate, snowshoeing, big wooly scarves, and a sense of renewal. Throughout the month of February, WinterLove PEI encourages people of all ages to discover or rediscover their love of winter through inspired events and activities to suit every type of winter lover – from the outdoors enthusiast to the culinary connoisseur to the seeker of all things cozy.
