Posted on 04/21/2020
The City of Charlottetown wishes to express its deepest condolences to Nova Scotia during the unimaginable tragedy that took place last weekend.

The flags at City Hall, the Police Station, Fire Stations 1 and 2, and Community Centre’s in West Royalty, East Royalty and Hillsborough Park, have all been lowered to half-mast to honour those who lost their lives in Nova Scotia.

While the flags were lowered on Monday, the public may notice the flags at the Charlottetown Event Grounds were not. The flags at the Charlottetown Event Grounds were not able to be lowered due to failed mechanisms and new parts required.
