Nominations for the Mayor’s Citizen Recognition Awards are due by Monday, July 22. The awards, which are open to residents of Charlottetown, will be presented at a ceremony during the Natal Day festivities in August.

The awards open to the public for nominations include: Youth of the Year Award, Citizen of the Year Award, and the newly renamed Forbes Kennedy Volunteer of the Year Award. These awards were designed to recognize extraordinary Charlottetown residents that go above and beyond to positively impact the people and community around them. Members of City Council will also be nominating deserving constituents for the Mayor’s Award of Merit.

Nomination forms can be picked up at the reception desk at City Hall (199 Queen Street) or completed online.

Nominations must be received by 4 p.m. on Monday, July 22. Forms can be dropped off at City Hall, emailed to rxmcphee@charlottetown.ca, submitted online or mailed to: Citizen Recognition 2019 c/o Mayor’s Office, PO Box 98, Charlottetown, PE C1A 7K2.
