Storm Closure and Rescheduled Meeting Notice

Due to the forecasted weather, the City of Charlottetown's administrative offices will close at 11 a.m. today (Monday, March 4). In addition, a number of meetings that were originally planned for today have been rescheduled.

The Finance, Audit and Tendering Committee meeting, which was scheduled for today, will take place on Tuesday, March 5 at 5 p.m.

The Special Meeting of Council, which was scheduled to take place on Tuesday, has been rescheduled to Wednesday, March 6 at 5 p.m.

The Planning Board meeting that was scheduled for today is moving to Wednesday, March 6 at 6:00 p.m.

The Planning and Heritage Committee meeting, which was scheduled for today, is moving to Wednesday, March 6 at 7:30 p.m.

The Protective and Emergency Services Committee meeting, which was scheduled for today, has been cancelled. The new date/time will be posted on the City's website once it has been rescheduled.

The Circuit Fitness Program scheduled to take place this evening at 7:30 p.m. at the West Royalty Community Centre has been cancelled.

The Simmons Sports Centre and the Cody Banks Arena will close at 12 p.m. today.

The City of Charlottetown's Public Works Department expects to be de-icing and/or clearing and hauling snow tonight. Motorists are advised that the overnight winter parking restrictions will be enforced throughout the City at the discretion of Charlottetown Police Services. Anyone parking on City streets tonight is taking a risk that they may be ticketed and/or towed.
