A traffic advisory has been issued for Old Home Week:

• During Old Home Week (August 9-17), motorists are advised that Kensington Road, from Park Street east to Beasley Avenue, will be reduced to one-way traffic (northbound only). Hawthorne Avenue, from Kensington Road north to St. Peters Road, and Linden Avenue, from Kensington Road north to St. Peters Road, will also be reduced to one-way traffic. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes. Anyone travelling in the area is asked to proceed with caution due to the increase in the number of pedestrians.

A traffic advisory has been issued with the following impacts expected for Sunday, August 11:

• In order to accommodate the Downtown Charlottetown Farmers Market, Queen Street, between Grafton Street and Dorchester Street, will be closed to vehicles beginning at 5 a.m. on Sunday, August 11, and reopening to traffic at 7 p.m. There will be no parking in this designated area on Queen Street after 2 a.m. on Sunday, August 11. Any vehicles left inside the event zone will be towed at the owners expense by 8 a.m. Motorists are asked to seek alternate routes during the market.
