Traffic Advisory for Thursday April 29

A traffic advisory has been issued with the following traffic flow impacts expected for Thursday April 29:

• Tree maintenance is scheduled to take place in the following locations April 29:
o Dorchester Street, between Pownal Street and Union Street from approximately 8 a.m. until 9 a.m. This section of the road will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.
- Pownal Street, between Fitzroy Street and Euston Street from approximately 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Traffic will be reduced to one lane and sidewalks in the work zone will be closed to pedestrian traffic.
-  Atlantic Road, between Hutchinson Court and Skyview Drive from approximately 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. (noon). Traffic will be reduced to one lane.
- Mount Edward Road, between Gower Street and Harley Street from approximately 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Traffic will be reduced to one lane and sidewalks in the work zone will be closed to pedestrian traffic.

Traffic control personnel will be on site at all locations to direct traffic.
• Work continues on the new library on Queen Street, between Richmond Street and Sydney Street. This section of sidewalk remains open to pedestrian traffic with signage in place as this work is ongoing.
• A section of the boardwalk that runs along the waterfront parallel to Haviland Street, adjacent to the Culinary Institute and the Armoury, will be closed to pedestrians during construction of a project at 15 Haviland Street. Those using the boardwalk will need to go around the site while exploratory excavation work related to a future building and the existing stormwater pipe is completed.
