Temporary Kent Street Closure and Queen Street Delays May 18

Kent Street from Pownal Street to Queen Street will be closed to the travelling public from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 18 for the Vyshyvanka Day celebrations and march organized by the PEI Branch of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC). Travellers should also expect delays on Queen Street from 12:00 p.m. until 12:30 p.m.
The march will begin on Kent Street at Charlottetown City Hall, following the singing of the national anthem and remarks from dignitaries, and will continue down Queen Street where it will finish at the 2024 sign on Queen’s Wharf at the Charlottetown Waterfront.
The City apologizes for any inconvenience this closure may cause and thanks the public for their patience and cooperation.
