Free workshop provides hands-on experience planting vegetables.
The City of Charlottetown is offering a free children’s gardening workshop on
Saturday, June 8 for kids aged six to 10.
Participants will learn about growing food and plants in small spaces such as balconies and containers and help plant some of the City’s community vegetable planters as well as their own vegetable container garden to take home.

Location: Orlebar Park and Victoria Park
Registration is required as space is limited. Participants will have the opportunity to select their preferred location based on availability.
The workshop is being delivered in partnership with The Burly Farmer and the City of Charlottetown’s Environment and Sustainability Department.
