Traffic Advisory Issued for Water Street from July 22 Until Further Notice

The City of Charlottetown would like to inform the public that Water Street will be on a stop-and-go traffic system between Grafton Street and Weymouth Street between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. beginning Monday, July 22 until further notice to allow for the installation of a concrete curb followed by grading and paving of the road.
The work is anticipated to take several weeks, therefore work will be limited to as much as possible during peak commuting hours. Traffic control personnel will be on site to control the flow of traffic for the duration of the work, however traffic delays are expected.
The Charlottetown Public Works Department apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks the public for their patience and cooperation.
