Outdoor Rinks and Ski Trails Closed for the Season

The City of Charlottetown is advising residents that outdoor city rinks, except for the artificial ice rink at Founders Hall, are now closed for the season. Cross-country ski trails located in Victoria Park and Belvedere Golf Course are also closed.
Staff will continue to monitor ice conditions and temperatures at Founders Hall and it will close when ice conditions are no longer sustainable.
The public are reminded to stay off closed rinks. While there may be a small amount of ice remaining at some outdoor rinks, the current and forecasted conditions can lead to safety concerns if skaters encounter thin ice or exposed areas.
Parks staff will be removing rink infrastructure over the next week.
