Disruption of Water Service and Street Closure

Unplanned/Emergency Disruption of Water Service and Street Closure Notice
Posted on 12/22/2023
The City of Charlottetown advises residents of Smallwood Crescent from Edinburgh Drive to Inkerman Drive that the Water and Sewer Utility are currently completing repairs to a watermain leak. This will result in a temporary disruption of water service to customers. This disruption of water service is estimated to last 5 to 6 hours.

Please note unforeseen circumstances may impact estimated timelines.

When service is restored, customers may experience temporary air and/or discolouration. The Utility recommends flushing cold water through the bathtub until it runs clear.

Residents are also advised that due to the Water and Sewer Utility’s work, Smallwood Crescent between Edinburgh Drive and Inkerman Drive will be closed to through traffic until approximately 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 22, 2023.

For questions or to report an issue, please contact the City of Charlottetown Water and Sewer Utility at (902) 629-4014.

The Water and Sewer Utility apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks the public for their patience and cooperation as the work progresses.
