2024-2025 Capital Budget

Charlottetown City Council approved the 2024-2025 capital budget on March 28, 2024. The city’s approved Capital Budget is $66.81 million, less partner funding of $21.05 million, and $16.96 million, less partner funding of $7.48 million, for Water and Sewer Utility Corporation, for a net total of $55.25 million for the 2024-25 fiscal year.

The approved capital budget will help the city continue to plan for the future by investing in the community and maintaining the delivery of essential services.

2024-2025 Operational Budget

Charlottetown City Council approved the 2024-2025 operational budget on March 28, 2024. The budget includes $86.45 million for the City Corporation and $15.79 million for the Water and Sewer Utility. The operational budget supports the delivery of protective services, water and sewer, parks and trails, events and tourism, maintenance of roads and community facilities, recreation and many other important services.
