Rooted in Art

Rooted in Art

September 11 - 25, 2021

Rooted in Art is a celebration of Charlottetown's beautiful urban forest! The initiative allows participants to see trees through the eyes of local artists, observing and interacting with these essential assets in new ways.

This year, Rooted in Art will involve six temporary tree-inspired art installations created by Island artists. These works of art will be installed in City trees along a 1.7km loop that is accessible by foot, bike, wheelchair or any other mode of active transportation. Art will be on display from September 11 - 25, 2021.
