2025-2026 Capital Budget

Charlottetown City Council approved the 2025-2026 Capital Budget on March 31, 2025. The City’s approved capital budget is $60.7 million, less partner funding of $9.6 million for a total capital budget of $70.3 million for the City Corporation and Water and Sewer Utility for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. 

The approved capital budget will help the city continue to plan for the future by investing in the community and maintaining the delivery of essential services.

2025-2026 Operating Budget

Charlottetown City Council approved the 2025-2026 Operating Budget on March 31, 2025. The City’s approved operating budget is $110 million for the City Corporation and Water and Sewer Utility for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. 

The approved operating budget supports the delivery of protective services, water and sewer, parks and trails, events and tourism, maintenance of roads and community facilities, recreation and many other important services.
