Residents Invited to Share Their Vision for Public Art in Charlottetown
Posted on 01/30/2025
The City of Charlottetown is leading an update of the Public Art Policy and invites residents to contribute to an exciting new vision for public art in the city.

The Public Art Policy  was last updated in 2020. Since then, a new cultural staff position and Cultural Policy have been created. The Public Art Policy update will involve community and stakeholder engagement to ensure the voices of Charlottetown’s diverse arts and cultural sectors, community members, city staff and elected officials are reflected.

Members of the public are invited to drop by The Guild any time during the hours listed below to participate in an interactive exhibit and have their say on public art in Charlottetown. Participants can place a dot on a map of where they want to see public art, explore the new public art inventory, and share their vision for public art.

When:
     • Tuesday, Feb. 4, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
     • Wednesday, Feb. 5, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
     • Thursday, Feb. 6, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
     • Friday, Feb. 7, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
