Portion of Queen Street Temporarily Closed Feb. 15

Details: This closure is to allow Jack Frost Winterfest participants to take part in Sleigh Bell Boulevard. This free, outdoor event will be held from 5 – 7 p.m. and feature buskers, live DJ entertainment, ice carving, horse and wagon rides, and a fireworks display which starts at 7 p.m. behind the 2025 sign on Queen’s Wharf at the Charlottetown waterfront. Due to safety concerns, residents and participants are reminded that the area surrounding Queens Wharf will have no public access and that the event location on Queen Street is the best and safest place to watch the fireworks display.
Traffic Impacts: Queen Street from Richmond Street to Sydney Street will be closed to motor vehicles and there will be no parking within the closure. Richmond Street and Sydney Street will remain open. Victoria Row is closed due to ongoing construction.
