Street Closure and Disruption of Water Service

Unplanned Disruption of Water Service and Street Closure Notice

The City of Charlottetown Water and Sewer Utility is completing work from a leaking gate valve that will result in a temporary disruption of water service to customers on Queen Street between Eden Street and Pond Street. This disruption of water service is expected to be less than a 5-hour duration on Monday, Apr. 7, between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Residents are also advised that due to the Water and Sewer Utility work, Queen Street between Eden Street and Pond Street will be closed to through traffic until approximately 5 p.m.

Please note unforeseen circumstances may impact estimated timelines.

When service is restored, customers may experience temporary air and/or discolouration. The Utility recommends flushing cold water through the bathtub until it runs clear.
