Join the Holiday Fun at the Annual Jingle Bell Walk and Tree Lighting

The City of Charlottetown will host the 28th Annual Jingle Bell Walk and Christmas Tree Lighting on Friday, Dec. 1, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. at the West Royalty Community Centre, 1 Kirkdale Dr.

This family-friendly event will begin with a Christmas Tree Lighting outside the Community Centre at 6:30 p.m. Families are invited to take part in a self-guided walk and read the featured StoryWalk book, “Stella, Queen of the Snow”, by Marie-Louise Gay which will remain on display for the month of December. Everyone is encouraged to bring a flashlight to light the path and a bell for some holiday jingle.

Activities for the whole family will take place inside the West Royalty Community Centre from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and will include a dramatic reading of favourite holiday stories by Becca the Witch, inflatable activity centres, letter writing to Santa, and cookie decorating. Light refreshments and hot chocolate will be provided.

All activities are free and open to all ages.
