Charlottetown Planning Board Special Meeting Results

The City of Charlottetown Planning Board has made a recommendation to Council to approve a Major Variance (Temporary Use) application from the P.E.I. Department of Housing, Land and Communities. This application requests temporary use in the form of a Community Outreach Centre to provide community services for vulnerable groups and individuals within two combined modular buildings at 15 Park St. for up to one year from the when the occupancy permit is issued.
The final decision on the variance application will be determined by Council at a future meeting of Council. The applications are considered active until a final decision by Council is made, and the city will not be able to provide further comment until that time.
