Water Street will remain closed to traffic between Grafton Street and Weymouth Street Wed., March 20, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. The road will be re-opened, but work will continue until 7 p.m. and flaggers will operate a stop-and-go system.
Motorists choosing to use this section of road should expect delays and access to businesses in the area will be maintained through the Grafton Street and Water Street intersection. Detour signage at the Hillsborough Bridge and Grafton Street has been updated and will be in place until work is completed.
Water Street will remain closed to traffic between Grafton Street and Weymouth Street today, March 19 until 7 p.m. A stop-and-go system will operate overnight until 9 a.m. on March 20 when work resumes.
