Street Closure on Riverside Drive Aug. 22-23

The City of Charlottetown would like to inform the public that a section of Riverside Drive at the right-turn ramp towards Grafton Street will be closed from 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22 to 6 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23 to install a new watermain under the road.
A single-lane traffic system will be in place for Stratford inbound traffic, Water Street and Grafton Street from Riverside Drive. Traffic personnel will be on site and detour signage will be in place.
Motorists in the area are encouraged to use alternate routes where possible to drive slowly when passing. Delays and stops can be expected.
The Charlottetown Public Works Department apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks the public for their patience and cooperation.
