The City of Charlottetown wishes to notify the public that the portion of Kent Street between Prince Street and Hillsborough Street will be closed to traffic on
Friday, Aug. 30 and Saturday, Aug. 31 from 3 p.m. to 12 a.m. to accommodate Corner Street Daze, an outdoor music event taking place in front of Hunters Ale House at 185 Kent St.
Parking restrictions will be in place between
12 p.m. and 12 a.m. both days and motorists travelling through the area are asked to seek alternate routes.
T3 Transit Route 23 leaving downtown may experience delays due to the detour and bus riders looking to use the route should board at the Confederation Centre bus stop, rather than the stops at Kent Street or Prince Street.
The City of Charlottetown apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and thanks the public for their patience and cooperation.
